2 T olive oil or water
2 large onions
2 carrots chopped
3 qts tomatoes
4 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried marjarom
2 bay leaves
salt and pepper
Heat oil/water. Add onion and carrot. Cook 3 - 4 minuts until soft. Add tomatoes, garlic, herbs. Lower heat simmer 30 minutes. Discard bay leaf. Puree in blender. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
